In every era, stunning Log Cabin quilts have been made using the trendiest fabrics. Antique and vintage Log Cabin quilts are found in the classic plaids and calicoes of the late 1800s; taffetas, velvets and silks of the Victorian age; the “depression-era” cottons of the 1930s; Amish solid colors; and Liberty of London’s soft floral designs. Today, we make Log Cabin quilts using all of those styles of fabrics, as well as current contemporary prints.
