Ashford Standard Bobbins Regular bobbins fit the Traditional, Traveller, Kiwi, Joy or Scholar MK-2 wheels.
Specify single or double drive as follows: Traditional and Traveler are either SD or DD. Joy & Kiwi are SD. Elizabeth is DD.
Single Drive bobbins are compatable with: Ashford Joy 1 : Not the Joy 2 with the sliding hook flyer. Ashford Kiwi 1 : Not the Kiwi 2 with the sliding hook flyer. Ashford Traditional: Only if set up in single drive. Ashford Traveler: Only if set up in single drive. Ashford Elizabeth: only if set up in single drive. Ashford Scholar: MK-2 - NOT the MK-1.
Double Drive bobbins are compatable with: Ashford Traditional: Only if set up in double drive. Ashford Traveler: Only if set up in double drive. Ashford Elizabeth. Ashford Elizabeth 2: when set up in double drive.
Ashford Jumbo Bobbins fit the Jumbo flyer and Electric Wheel. These bobbins come single drive and double drive.
Jumbo Single Drive bobbins are compatible with: Ashford Joy 1: Equipped with the jumbo flyer. Ashford Kiwi 1: Equipped with the jumbo flyer. Ashford Traditional: Equipped with the single drive jumbo flyer. Ashford Traveler: Equipped with the single drive jumbo flyer. Ashford Elizabeth 2: Equipped with the single drive jumbo flyer. Ashford Electric Spinner: Equipped with the single drive jumbo flyer.
Double Drive bobbins are compatible with: Ashford Traditional:Equipped with double drive jumbo flyer. Ashford Traveler:Equipped with double drive jumbo flyer. Ashford Elizabeth:Equipped with double drive jumbo flyer. Ashford Elizabeth 2:Equipped with double drive jumbo flyer.
Ashford Sliding Hook Bobbins Choose from single or double drive. Note: The sliding hook flyer bobbins are the mid-size bobbins and will not fit the standard flyer.
Single Drive: Ashford Kiwi 2. Ashford Joy 2. The Standard Sliding Hook Flyer added to of the other Ashford Single Drive Wheels. Double Drive: The Standard Sliding Hook Flyer added to any of the other Ashford Double Drive Wheels.
Ashford High Speed, Double Drive Bobbin Fits only double drive wheels. - Ashford Elizabeth, Traveler or Traditional: Equipped with the high speed whorl and set up in double drive.
Kiwi Super Flyer, super-size bobbin has a 1.1 lb (500gm) capacity which is 2X of what the standard Jumbo Bobbin holds. Fits the Kiwi Super Flyer ONLY.
Country Spinner Bobbin fits both old and new Country Spinner and the e-Spinner Super Jumbo
Bobbins are available natural (unfinished) or with a clear lacquer finish.
