So portable. Spinners have been creating yarn with drop spindles for millennia and Ashford offers a wide range of styles from which to choose. All are made from Silver beech hard wood.

Top Whorl Spindles include a clear lacquer finish and come in a variety of weights. Spin a wide range of fibers from superfine on the lightest spindle to long lustrous fleece on the heaviest spindle.

Following models do not include wood finish.

Turkish Drop Spindle has removable bars for winding balls on the spindle and unique wire hook. (6", ~2¼oz)

Student Drop Spindle top whorl spindle with a fixed whorl and screw hook. (3⅛", ~2½oz)
